New Delhi: In a major breakthrough, the National Investigation Agency (NIA) has arrested another member of the Popular Front of India (PFI), who was Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) leader Srinivasan in Kerala’s Palakkad district in April last year. Wanted in the gruesome murder of , The accused Sahir KV was absconding since the crime and had a reward of Rs 4,00,000 on him. An NIA Fugitive Tracking Team (FTT) tracked him to a relative’s house in Palakkad district and arrested him. Sahir, a resident of Palakkad, was part of the PFI assault and protection team that carried out the targeted killing. Sahir was also responsible for providing security to Srinivasan’s main attackers.
The NIA investigation revealed that the accused, who was the Pattambi area president of PFI, was involved in various conspiracies by PFI leaders to eliminate Srinivasan. India by 2047

Earlier on March 17, the NIA had filed a charge sheet against 59 accused including PFI as an organization in the case.
