Paramount Plus is raising the price of its ad-supported plan today. The service’s Essential plan will now cost $5.99 per month or $59.99 per year, instead of $4.99 per month.
Unlike Paramount Plus with Showtime, the service’s ad-supported Essentials plan only comes with access to Paramount Plus’s content, which includes shows such as yellowstone sub- 1883 And 1923as well as Live NFL games via CBS. Meanwhile, the new Paramount Plus with Showtime subscription tier provides access to everything in the Essentials plan, plus content from Showtime, such as yellow jacket, rightAnd Mr. Judge.
If you’re currently subscribed to Paramount Plus’s old premium plan, the company says you’ll automatically be upgraded to Paramount Plus with Showtime. Unfortunately, this also means you’ll need to start paying the new $11.99 price during your next billing cycle. For new subscribers, Paramount is offering a free 30-day trial of its Paramount Plus with a Showtime subscription until July 12.
