Rajkumar Rao honored with ’40 Under 40 Award’

New Delhi: Critically acclaimed actor Rajkummar Rao received the prestigious recognition of 40 Under 40 Awards. Enjoying a strong fan base, Rajkummar Rao’s journey in Hindi cinema has been remarkable. Since his debut in 2010, Rao has been acclaimed for roles in Kai Po Che!, Queen, Aligarh, Newton and Trapped.

From Bareilly Ki Barfi to Stree, Ludo to The White Tiger, Rao has surprised many with his versatility. With his latest release, Bhide, Rao has made sure fans are not disappointed. In 2022, Rao worked in three consecutive film releases, namely ‘Monica, O My Darling’, ‘Hit’ and ‘Badhaai Do’. This year, Rao is all set to deliver Mr. and Mrs. Mahi, Guns and Gulab and the biopic of the inspirational Srikanth Bola.

Best known for his role in Stree, the much-acclaimed film released in 2018 and was a huge hit. Recently, the makers announced the sequel of the film at an event where the team also presented a skit to reveal the release date of the sequel – August 31, 2024. Apart from Rajkumar Rao and Shraddha Kapoor, the film also stars actors Pankaj Tripathi, Aparshakti Khurana. Abhishek Banerjee in lead roles.

Rajkummar Rao also loves to explore cities around the world, especially barefoot. This is something he did while exploring Budapest, Vienna and some of the smaller towns in Austria. The National Award winning actor loves to explore new places.
