Richa Chadha feels refreshed working on Maiden International production

New Delhi: Actress Richa Chadha, who is known for the ‘Gangs of Wasseypur’, ‘Inside Edge’, ‘Masaan’, ‘Section 375’ and ‘Fukrey’ franchises, is all set to make her international debut this year with ‘Aaina’, and she feels like a fresher while shooting for the film.

The actress has started shooting for the film which is set in the UK and she will be seen playing the lead role alongside ‘Chronicles of Narnia’ fame William Moseley. The film will be a drama which is based on real life incidents. The film is currently being shot in the UK and after the London schedule, it will be shot at different locations in India.

Talking about the film, Richa said, “I had read a few scripts for international projects but nothing was looking good. When the mirror came to me, I knew it was it and now, as it is finally happening, I am beyond thrilled. The story of the film is very interesting. I have prepared a strong script for my international debut and Aaina was the perfect fit for that.”

He further added, ‘The entire film has been shot in the UK and their work culture is very different from ours. So, even with years of experience in the Indian film industry, I felt like a fresher.

The actress has wrapped up shooting for ‘Fukrey 3’ where she plays the role of Bholi Punjaban. She has also completed her other work commitments related to the first project of her production house ‘Girls Will Be Girls’. The film, which is about a 16-year-old girl who has a difficult relationship with her mother, stars Malayalam actor Kani Kushruti in the lead role and also stars debutants Preethi Panigrahi and Kesav Binoy Kiran.
