It looks like the rich and famous get access to the Samsung Galaxy Watch 6 a little earlier than the rest of us, as the yet-to-be-announced wearable has been spotted on the wrist of English Premier League footballer Son Heung-min. seen on.
According to Yonhap News and @GaryeonHan (via SamMobile), Son was on his way back to London club Tottenham Hotspur for preseason training via South Korea’s Incheon International Airport on the morning of July 14.
Samsung later more or less confirmed that it was indeed the Galaxy Watch 6, saying in a statement that “Son will serve as Samsung’s Galaxy brand ambassador” and that “he will make a variety of appearances with the brand”.
It would make sense that the son would also get early access to the watch, since he’s coming from Samsung’s home country. What’s more, Samsung has previous form for this, with an early Galaxy Watch 4 presentation to volleyball player Kim Yeon-kong.

Credit to Samsung’s marketing team for generating the buzz about the upcoming wearables, but the image taken of the son during the trip doesn’t tell us much about the device. We know that it will be officially unveiled on July 26.
The watch seen in the picture looks quite similar to the leaked images of the upcoming Samsung Galaxy Watch 6 Classic. We have a feeling the rotating bezel will make a return on this model, offering a convenient way to navigate the on-screen menus.
Samsung is hoping to bring back the classic nomenclature for one of its watches this year, even though the 2022 models were called the Samsung Galaxy Watch 5 and the Samsung Galaxy Watch 5 Pro. The second model will be the Galaxy Watch 6 only.
We’re expecting a faster processor and smaller display bezels this time around from Samsung, though nothing’s for sure until it’s official. As far as the price is concerned, according to the leak, it will apparently be similar to the previous model.
