There are reports that Sanjay Leela Bhansali has asked for re-shoots of several scenes amid the excitement surrounding his much-awaited web series Heeramandi. The sources even said that it was speculated that the release of the series would be postponed due to the reshoots. However now, sources have refuted the rumours.
Reports said that the director insisted on re-shooting some scenes as he was unsatisfied with them. However, a source close to the project revealed the following in a statement to ETimes: “There is no truth to these mischievous rumours. There are no re-shoots. SLB is a perfectionist and goes into the details of things but he does a lot more than that.” Happy. Everything.”
The reports led to concerns that the reshoots of the series might result in a delay in release, which worried the producers.
Through the stories of courtesans and their clients against the turbulent backdrop of the Indian Liberation War of the 1940s, the series explores the cultural realities of the glitzy neighborhood of Hiramandi. Sonakshi Sinha, Manisha Koirala, Aditi Rao Hydari, Richa Chadha and Sanjeeda Sheikh join the cast. Fans were enthralled by the first look poster of the series, which was released by the filmmaker earlier this year, and have been eagerly awaiting its release.
