‘The Kerala Story’ has received a mixed response from people across the country. While some people have called this subject a bitter truth, some people have also termed it as a propaganda film. However, the film is doing wonders at the box office and is performing tremendously. In just nine days, the film has crossed the Rs 100 crore mark at the box office.
Earlier, there was a huge controversy after the trailer of ‘The Kerala Story’ claimed that 32,000 women from Kerala had gone missing and joined terrorist group ISIS. However, in the wake of protests, the controversial figures in the trailer were later withdrawn. Its trailer description was later changed to a story of three women from Kerala.
