Sometime back, he had shared a picture of the song and told how he wanted a love song that could pay tribute to his mentor Yash Chopra.

In his lengthy post, KJo also revealed that Tum Kya Miley was her first shoot after giving birth to Alia’s daughter Raha. She wrote that she felt bad for wearing chiffon sarees and shooting amidst the snow-capped mountains of Kashmir. She also shared that Ranveer was nervous during the shoot as it was his ‘first lip sync mountain love song’. Karan’s post read, “#tumkyamile will be yours in a few hours… I remember initially my instinct was that I wanted to film a love song that would pay an unabashed tribute to my guru Yash Chopra.. .Thinking evolved mind would say “You cannot equal it or even dare to emulate it” but the fan boy and ardent lover of snow, chiffon, Kashmir’s stunning locales and sheer romance made a better impression on me …Pritam Dada and I yearned for a song for ages and ages and it would be unattainable otherwise it would not be true.” have a look:
