One savvy Twitter user wrote that he was deleting all dating apps. The user wrote that he’d rather date the old fashioned way: Good lord make a woman out of her ribs. It is now the oldest matrimonial match ever on record. Responding to the user, Elon Musk suggested trying Twitter to meet a potential partner. The billionaire claimed that there are many people who have discovered their significant others on Twitter.

Reactions started pouring in on Musk’s proposal. Apart from the usual series of memes, Twitterati took a dig at the billionaire’s tweet. A user commented on Should Twitter Dating be called Twitter or Twinder? One user claimed that he knows several people who started dating because of the Twitter space. Many users claim to have met their fiancees (and even their exes) on the Bird app. Users also shared how scammers spam their DMs with ‘seeking relationship’ temptations.
