New Delhi: A throwback video of Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leader Raghav Chadha after his engagement to Bollywood actress Parineeti Chopra has gone viral on the internet. It shows Venkaiah Naidu teasing the AAP leader during the Parliament session. The video shows former Indian Vice President Venkaiah Naidu teasing Raghav Chadha about his ‘first love’. It appears that the video was shot long before Raghav exchanged rings with Parineeti.
The video begins with Raghav addressing an issue in Parliament when a cheerful Naidu suddenly starts talking to him about love and relationships. “Raghav, I think love is only one, isn’t it? Once, second time, then it happens again? No?
A blushing Raghav then replied to Naidu saying, “I haven’t had much experience in life yet but it is good.” To this, Naidu says, “First love always looks and it should last forever.”
Raghav Chadha and Parineeti Chopra got engaged on May 13 in a private ceremony in Delhi. The ceremony took place at Kapurthala House in Connaught Place, Delhi and was attended by around 150 guests. Parineeti’s cousin Priyanka Chopra, Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann, former cabinet minister P Chidambaram, former Maharashtra minister Aaditya Thackeray attended the event.
After the engagement news, Parineeti and Raghav shared similar pictures from the ceremony and announced their engagement.
On Monday, Parineeti and Raghav shared a message of gratitude for the love showered on them. “Raghav and I are overwhelmed by the love and positivity we’ve received over the past few weeks, especially on our engagement,” wrote Pari. Chopra and Chadha family members distributed sweets among media persons stationed outside the venue.
