Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) will take on Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) and the pressure will be immense on them to deliver the goods. A loss on Thursday night would virtually eliminate them from the competition as they would not be able to get the minimum 16 points to qualify for the playoffs, which is the target for most teams in the season. Only Gujarat Titans (GT) have qualified for the playoffs so far with 17 points. Virat Kohli, Faf du Plessis, Glenn Maxwell and Mohammed Siraj will be the key components in the RCB lineup when they take on SRH. These four cricketers have been the winning factors for RCB in IPL 2023.
Virat Kohli vs Babar Azam: Indian batsman slips to No.8 in ICC ODI rankings, Pakistan captain retains No.1
Former SRH coach Tom Moody believes that RCB need to be at their best in the remaining two matches of the season. Otherwise, qualifying will not be easy. He added that Kohli will play a big role in them qualifying for the playoffs as he will give it his all to take RCB to the playoffs. Tom Moody said, “..so they need to pull their socks up and go full throttle in the remaining games. They have a player like Virat Kohli who can bring his potential to help RCB stay in the playoff race.” Will do everything accordingly.” Star sports cricket live.

Yusuf Pathan wants RCB all-rounder to perform
Former KKR and RR batsman Yusuf Pathan said that RCB need to play as a unit and not depend on one or two of the three players to make it to the playoffs. He said, “RCB has to play as a team. Now is not the time that RCB should focus only on three players (Kohli, Maxwell and Faf). Now every player has to come forward and fulfill his responsibility.”
Irfan says PBKS loss to DC has helped RCB
Former India bowler Irfan Pathan claimed that Punjab’s defeat has surely brought some relief to the camps of RCB, MI and CSK ahead of their do-or-die game. He said, “RCB is in an advantageous position with the loss of Punjab Kings. Mumbai Indians will also get a chance but their fate will also depend on the result of the match between CSK and DC.” Irfan also praised Delhi Capitals bowlers Khaleel Ahmed and Kuldeep Yadav for making good use of the Dharamshala track and restricting the Punjab Kings batsmen from scoring freely. “Six overs bowled by Khaleel Ahmed and Kuldeep Yadav made the difference on the Dharamshala track. But the flawed strategies of the PBKS team management are also to be blamed. Those errors cost them dearly.”
