Cricket maestro Virat Kohli achieved a remarkable feat during the ongoing second Test against the West Indies in Trinidad as he made his 500th appearance for India and scored his 76th international century. The first innings saw Kohli’s brilliance on full display as he scored a brilliant 121 to help India post a total of 438 after the hosts elected to bowl.
Sadly, despite being in good form, Kohli’s innings was cut short due to an unfortunate run-out. However, this century marks another significant achievement for the former India skipper as he went past legendary batsman Brian Lara in the list of players with most centuries while batting at No.4 position. Currently ranked fourth, Kohli finds himself in the illustrious company of Sachin Tendulkar, Jacques Kallis and Mahela Jayawardene.
With India already leading the two-match series 1-0, Kohli is enjoying his time in the Caribbean. A recent video of the cricket superstar went viral, in which he is seen showing off his dance moves while relishing a pancake, adding a touch of light-hearted entertainment to the intense Test series.

As play began on the third day, West Indies struggled to make a significant impact and ended the day at 229/5 in response to India’s strong first innings total. A rain-interrupted day saw a fine display of cricket as the home team went on the defensive. West Indies captain Kraigg Brathwaite showed immense composure and resilience during his knock of 75, which faced 235 balls, including five fours and a six, before succumbing to a familiar opponent.
While Kohli’s scintillating centuries and his reckless pancake dance have attracted the attention of fans across the world, the Test series continues to be an exciting spectacle, showcasing the fierce rivalry between bat and ball. As the action resumes, cricket fans eagerly await more moments of brilliance from the Indian skipper and the talented players from both the teams.
