Zoey 102 trailer out: Jamie Lynn Spears and cast return to film sequel to Nickelodeon’s comedy-drama series

The American comedy-drama television series Zoey 101 enjoyed a 3-year and 61-episode runtime from 2005 to 2008. More than 15 years after the Nickelodeon show went off-air, the cast is returning in a new movie called Zoey 102. The upcoming film will serve as the sequel to the series and the trailer of the film was recently released, keep reading to know more details.

Zoey 102 Trailer, Synopsis And Release Date

Paramount+ releases the official trailer for Zoey 102 where the Pacific Coast Academy graduates reunite in Malibu for a wedding. The post’s caption read, “Save the date and tag your +1 #Zoey102 A new movie, #ParamountPlus premiering July 27th!” The description said, “The reunion we’ve all been waiting for: Pacific Coast Academy’s Zoey Brooks and friends are set to reunite after fifteen years for a super-wedding!”

“Many things have changed and everyone has to deal with their dreams and secrets,” it concludes. Zoey 102 is all set to release on 27th July on Paramount Plus. The trailer states “the kids you loved are all grown up” as it shows flashbacks to the show and then cuts to new footage from the film, where a guy approaches Zoey after their second date. He is on one knee to propose, but stops to ask her if her last name. The trailer then shows Quinn and Logan’s wedding which reunites the entire high school gang from the Nickelodeon show.

Zoey learns that Chase is also attending her best friend’s wedding and hires someone to be her fake boyfriend. The trailer is full of chaotic moments, funny scenes and an old spark reigns. Jamie Lynn Spears reprized her role as Zoey Brooks. Other cast members include Erin Sanders as Quinn Pensky, Sean Flynn as Chase Matthews, Abby Wilde as Stacy Dillson, Matthew Underwood as Logan Reese, Christopher Massey as Michael Barrett, Mark Del Figlo as Starring Jack Salvatore, Kelly as Kevin, Thomas Lennon, Owen. Thiele as Archer March, Dean Geyer as Todd, Audrey Whitby as Lyric, and Zack Zagoria as Jordan B.

Zoey 101 aired on Nickelodeon from January 9, 2005 to May 2, 2008 for four seasons. Filming for the upcoming film began in January 2023 in Wilmington, North Carolina and completed in February 2023. Jamie Lynn, who is the younger sister of Britney Spears, is an executive producer on Zoey 102. Directed by Nancy Hower, the film is a throwback to the past and a reminder that while change is inevitable, some things never really change.
