The first poster of Vijay Sethupathi’s 50th feature film Maharaja is out now. The film also stars Anurag Kashyap and is directed by Nithilan Saminathan, known for his work on Kurangu Bommai.
On Wednesday, Vijay shared the news on his official Twitter account. He wrote, “#VJS50 titled #Maharaja. Written & directed by @Dir_Nithilan.”

Passion Studios and The Root have produced Maharaja, with Sudhan Sundaram and Jagadish Palanisamy serving as producers. According to a statement from the makers, the shooting of the film has been wrapped up and the film is now in the final stages of post-production. The cast includes Mamta Mohandas and Naty (Nataraj).
Meanwhile, on the work front, Vijay Sethupathi will be next seen in Atlee's Jawaan alongside Shah Rukh Khan and Nayanthara. He also celebrated Merry Christmas with Katrina Kaif.
