Recently a four year old child lost one of his hands. While everyone was crying, her courage impressed netizens who offered to help her in any way they could. While the accident took place last month, its video has gone viral on social media. In the video, the child can be heard saying, “God wanted my hand, I gave it.” While his mother started crying, he asked her not to cry. Dakshesh’s birthday is on 23rd July. He is studying in nursery class and his mother is worried about his future.
The incident took place in Rihadi area of Jammu. While playing at home, the child (Dakshesh Gupta) went near the peda making machine and somehow his hand got stuck in the machine. When his mother heard his screams, she rushed to the spot and her child’s right hand was trapped inside the machine and was bleeding profusely.

For about two hours the people around gathered and kept trying to get the child’s hand out of the machine. When they did not succeed, they called a welder to cut the machine and freed the child’s hand. Even the welder could not do so, so the child along with the machine was taken to GMC Hospital. After about three hours, the child’s hand was amputated and freed from the machine after the operation.
Doctors at GMC Hospital said that the child could not be saved as his hand was badly crushed. Due to the fear of infection and to stop the bleeding, it was necessary to have a quick operation.
When Dakshesh regained consciousness, he realized that his right hand had been chopped off. Seeing his relatives crying, Dakshesh said that God wanted his hand, so he gave it.
