Gujarat Titans batsman Shubman Gill was lauded by the entire cricket fraternity for his exceptional batting knock of 101 runs in the match against Sunrisers Hyderabad on Monday, while former India skipper Virat Kohli lauded the young batsman’s performance. Virat took to his Instagram on Tuesday and shared a story lauding Shubman’s knock in the Indian Premier League at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad. Virat wrote in an Instagram story, “There is possibility and then there is Gill. Go ahead and lead the next generation. God bless you.”
Many fans are comparing Shubman with Virat Kohli as they see him as the person who can take Virat’s legacy forward. He has been consistent as a batsman and has a class in his batting. The talented batsman has achieved a feat by becoming the only cricketer in history to score a century in Test, ODI, T20I and Indian Premier League in a calendar year.
