Talking about MS Dhoni, KL Rahul said that the World Cup-winning captain of Team India knows how to handle the team with his calm demeanor and he focuses on building relationships with other team members. The wicket-keeper batsman said that after Dhoni’s retirement, he realized that his presence in the dressing room makes a difference. Furthermore, Rahul said that Dhoni is a great leader as he knows everything about his players.
The LSG skipper, who was ruled out of the tournament due to injury, said Dhoni taught him to trust his gut as a captain. Rahul further added that Dhoni never used to question his gut and went ahead with it due to which he got the results in his favour.
