Singapore-based wealth and savings app HugoSave announced that it has appointed Karl Franks as its new COO to drive its strategic growth initiative in Singapore and Asia Pacific. Karl will also oversee the day-to-day operations and enhance its effectiveness.
With over 20 years of leadership experience, including 15 years gained in the financial services industry, Carl has led strategic business management and delivery of major transformational programs across banking divisions and consulting for leading financial institutions.
Prior to joining HugoSave, Carl was Chief of Staff, Asia Pacific COO, at UBS Wealth Management Singapore, where he oversaw the firm’s regional business strategy and led the merger of the Wealth Institute’s COO office and operations team.
Prior to this, he held leadership roles in consulting and transformation portfolio management with Deloitte Consulting and Deutsche Bank in Singapore and London.
