Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) all-rounder Rinku Singh has been in scintillating form this Indian Premier League. So far in IPL 2023, Rinku has scored 407 runs in 13 matches. He is expected to touch the 450-run mark by the end of the season. Stats apart, Rinku has been an impressive player for KKR, finishing off innings and making chases look very easy. He won the match out of nowhere for KKR by hitting five sixes in the last over off Yash Dayal against Gujarat Titans (GT). After that match, he has played some excellent, match-winning innings.

Harbhajan told Rinku the X-factor of KKR
Former India cricketer Harbhajan Singh believes that Andre Russell is no longer the X-factor player for KKR but has been replaced by Rinku Singh. “Now Rinku has become the X-factor for KKR, not Russell. Russell’s era is gone. Now is Rinku’s time. Even if Rinku is sent, he can do justice to his role. He is of different caliber. Is a player and we will.” See India cap on his head soon,” said Harbhajan while speaking on Star Sports’ Cricket Live.

Stoinis key for LSG, says Kaif
Former India cricketer Mohammad Kaif believes Australia all-rounder Marcus Stoinis – who has been on fire on all cylinders lately – will be the key for the Super Giants in a virtual quarter-final. “Stoinis has the ability to single-handedly change the course of a match. The way he hits yorkers for sixes shows the power he wields. He is a very intelligent batsman and plays according to the situation.”
Sreesanth impressed with Prithvi Shaw
Former India cricketer S Sreesanth has praised young India batsman Prithvi Shaw for his match-winning half-century against Punjab Kings. Shaw – who had a turbulent Tata IPL 2023 – got his chance after warming the bench for almost a month. The talented right-handed batsman made significant contributions with the bat in Dharamsala and the team management will be hoping that the Mumbaikar ends the season on a high note. Speaking on Star Sports’ Cricket Live, S Sreesanth said, “I am very happy with Prithvi Shaw for getting some runs against his name at the back end of the season. Will continue that against CSK as well.”
